Collagen Light Therapy is the mix of Blue, Red, and UV light waves. Blue light affects the production of the hormone melatonin, which is best known as the hormone regulating sleep. Blue light is the shortest wavelength of visible light, which sits right above UV light. This unit can be used when addressing S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder). WARNING: These lamps use UV (Ultraviolet radiation is a known cause of skin cancer) special eyewear must be worn at all times.
